Competitions

If your child is eager to take their dance hobby to the next level, our competition opportunities are the perfect place to begin. Competitions help dancers build confidence, discipline, technique, and performance skills in an encouraging and inspiring environment.

We offer a dedicated competition class for dancers who wish to develop further. This class focuses on body control, strength, and the technical foundations needed to perform at their best.

​

Our Squad takes part in both ISTD competitions and friendly competitions throughout the year.

 

ISTD Competitions

ISTD competitions are regulated by the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing and run by the DFR faculty.

These events provide dancers with the opportunity to qualify for Grand Finals Day, where successful qualifiers compete for the title of National Champion.

Friendly Competitions​

Friendly competitions are organised by other dance schools and offer dancers additional opportunities to perform, improve their skills, and build confidence.

We encourage our Squad to participate in all friendly competitions throughout the year to broaden their experience and enjoy extra time on the dance floor.
